Vanderbilt’s 2017 recruiting cycle has taken a crazy turn during the last 24 hours before National Signing Day. What made this last day before the final surge is a surprising commitment from 2017 Honolulu, HI (Iolani School) DE Jonah Buchanan.
The 6-foot-3, 270-pounder has been in recent contact with Vanderbilt defensive line coach Chase Ah You. However, he held no offers until Tuesday morning, when he got an offer from Vanderbilt defensive line coach Chase Ah You over the phone.
